    Hello All.....has anyone ever tried Autodesk Inventor 2008 on MBP 17" through Boot Camp? And if so, how is the performance? would you recommend it?

    i'm curious too, because I need to be able to use cad software if I buy a mac. Thats what is holding me back.

    It should be fine. I use Autodesk Maya, and it works great. You'll have the processor speed for rendering and memory for modeling....well in Maya at least, I'm not sure how Inventor works.
