    i sold one of my macbook's on ebay. it was perfect. just look at the feedback, this guy has pretty good feedback so if you want, go for it. you are also protected by paypal anyways.

    As long as the seller has feedback in the items that they're selling you're good. Paypal and your credit card got your back as well.

    How they get their items so cheap? That's a question i don't need to know the answer to.

    They buy them in bulk at either wholesale or even below that. the seller #2 is legit as I have purchased it from them before. I bought mine new from ebay as well, though local pick up as he's from the area.

    The second seller has 44,000 feedback so he is probably legit :)

    That's the part I always wondered about. I know the profit margin for official resellers is pretty low.

    *UPDATE* Just got my 2.4 unibody mbp w/ applecare delivered today. Bought it on ebay Tues., had it shipped yesterday, and arrived today! Saved me a huge chunk of cash

    My friend bought a 2.53 unibody mbp for 2300 CAD (tax included), in Toronto, from some guy he found on craigslists. It made me regret getting the early 2008 2.53 mbp for 1600+tax at futureshop, :( .. Oh well.. :)
