    Hello,

I would like to know if OSX has a build in firewall and what featuers it has. I know the OSX is pretty secure and all but I sometimes connect to large LANs and I want to be able to filter some subnets so I can black their access. A black and white lists for subnets and IPs would be nice. Any Mac firewall program that can do this?

Also the Virtual CD drive. OSX has one build in I know. What kind of image files /formats can it use?

    Thank you!

Never really looked at it in detail, but the OS X firewall does what it's meant to do pretty well. You can exempt certain ports and applications from the firewall, and it prevent intrusion attacks pretty well (if any).

I haven't come accross a CD image yet which OS X does not recognise. I have been able to mount .dmg, .iso, .mdf and various other images just fine.
