    Hey guys,

Basically im trying to run itunes and bowtie together (i.e open bowtie when i open itunes and shutdown bowtie when i quit itunes)

THis is not available in the preference option in bowtie. As a result I used apple script and used the following command and saved it as an application

    tell application "Bowtie" to activate
    tell application "iTunes" to activate

I have come across two issues:

    1) when click the new app, it opens both itunes and bowtie but i have to quite each of them separately and unfortunately i do not know the code to close them simultaneously

    2) the dock icon of itunes appears and i want that to not appear at all.

IF anyone can help me with this it will be great. If anyone has any other solution to my main problem please leave a comment

To close them simultaneously, use a separate script application.

Or you could alternatively use Automater to create an app to quit the two applications.

As for your second question, I am not enough of an iTunes expert to have a clue there.
