I have a late 2007 Macbook White Model C2D. Everything seems to be going fine, except the bezel frame has become a bit loose on the left and right side. Will applecare fix that, or is that something that i will have to dish out on my own and how much will that cost? It also seems like the y key is being a bit unresponsive.

There is a good chance they will help you, especially if you can take it to an apple store.

By the AppleCare specifications, it doesn't cover cosmetic issues, but if many Apple Stores aren't that picky and will fix it for you anyway. Its worth a try, the most they can and will do is apologize and say they can't fix it for you!

When i go to the apple store for a tune up / fix do i need to bring anything to prove the warranty? I bought the macbook online, but i have the box, and the sticker on it with the serial number and everything. Before going to the applestore do i have to call up AppleCare or do i just make an appointment with a genius and go? Also has there been reported issues before with unresponsive keys? And if i buy RAM will they install it for me for free or should i just do it myself?

You don't need any warranty proof, all you need is to bring the Mac as it has the serial number already. You may want to check on Apple's website with your serial number to make sure the warranty isn't over.

You do not need to call up AppleCare, you can book a Genius appointment beforehand or you can wait in the Apple Store, both work!
