This isn't big, but Apple redesigned their website to better fit the upcoming UI of Leopard. Notice that .Mac has been removed, and on the "index" of the website (near the bottom of the page on most of the webpages), .Mac is a feature of Mac OS X, but has no link while the rest of the features do. I got a feeling Apple will update .Mac soon.

EDIT: I also really like the built-in search on the top right corner of the Apple site now. I especially like how you don't have to enter another page for the search results...they show the results instantly.

Makes sense...... there have been lots of rumblings of a .Mac revamp.

How on earth did they make those slider menus and buttons which slide when clicked on without using flash? Is it JavaScript? Since when could JavaScript do that?

    Which ones exactly?

    EDIT: Oh, nm, I see.....

From looking at the source, looks like JavaScript and stuff to me (see the /* SLIDERS */ part of the code)

you can do anything you want to when it comes to web design, there are very few limits.
