I know that Apple has consistently done free iPods with the purchase of an Apple laptop for the past two or three years now. This is the only thing stopping me from buying my MacBook now. I definitely don't mind waiting a couple of months if it means that I'll get a free iPod if I buy during the summer.
But then I had a thought. Now that Apple is selling both the original White MacBooks and the Aluminum MacBooks, do you guys think they'll pull something like free iPods ONLY with the White MacBooks and not with the new aluminum ones? I definitely want the new MacBooks so I would not want the iPod if it meant buying an old white one. Any chance they'll phase out the old notebooks by then?
Do you guys think Apple would try to do something like this? If so, I'd consider just buying one now rather than later. Thanks!

I doubt Apple would "restrict" the offer, I think it'll be "all Mac notebooks". And it is possible that the white MacBook is phased out by then!

No, it's going to be for all. This summer, they even included the new ones in the middle of the promotion.
