Ok, so Im waiting for the conference, Just in case!.. i read somewhere here that this weekend is tax free also? does that apply to california, that might make me buy the macbook on the weekend, anyways, my question is..

Im getting it with a 80gb HDD instead of the 60gb it comes with, if i order monday night, pay 2-3 shipping, would i have it by friday? how is apples shipping doing?

Tax free for some states, not sure about California. I ordered my Macbook last night. Hasn't shipped yet. If you order it without modification then it goes out within 24 hours. If you customize then it may between one and three days. I ordered my iMac a couple of months ago and it took a day and a half to ship, but I got it two days later. Since you are already in California, the transit time should be minimal.

    California is taxed.

I ordered base 2.0 Ghz with no config and paid the 18 for faster shipping, I ordered wednesday night, shipped thursday, arrived monday, coulda probably been here sooner except FedEx don't like to deliver weekends.

Oh! what keyboard did u get, i just noticed theres two different types of them. This guy posted it on another topic, theres the ugly inverted ls shape enter key and the normal symetrical rectangular key, i dont want to be stuck with the ugly one, since im getting one built.

Well, its obvisually has to be another country's keyboard layout thats specific to them. The US Keyboard is nothing like that, as I have never seen any keyboard using such a style around here.

The Return key is a rectangle.
