I take back anything negative I might have said about Apple in the past.

I recently received some stellar customer support from them.

The SuperDrive in my MacBook was bad from day one. It could never burn a reliable disc over 2x. So recently I called Apple to have it sent in for repair.

Things actually went bad at this point. The company Apple hired for repairs scratched up my system, screwed up the mouse button, and didn't replace the DVD drive.

So what happened in the end?

Apple replaced my MacBook with the new and current model white MacBook.

When Apple dropped the price of the iPhone, I called them and they credited back my account. My 4GB iPhone ended up costing only $250.

My new iPod nano was one with a slightly tilted screen. I called Apple just a couple of days ago and now I'm syncing content to the replacement as I type this.

Am I still upset that my $1408 MacBook doesn't have a dedicated GPU? Definitely.

But the service I received from Apple far outshines and outweighs any benefit PC hardware might have offered me that I had talked about in previous threads.

I didn't have to fight Apple for months upon months like I did with HP (and am currently doing because the motherboard in the system died, AGAIN).

Apple really needs to add a dedicated GPU to the MacBook. But their customer service is awesome.

Now they just need to stand up and fix their current issues (ringtones, locking out video accessories, iPod game buyers being forced to repurchase) and they'll be one of the top companies out there as far as customer service is concerned.
