    Apple upgrading to Geforce 9 series soon?

    As the title suggests, will apple be upgrading their macbook pros to the 9xxx series any time soon? :)

    They probably will in May/June/July when they upgrade the MBP to use Montevina processors.

    Its possible, but hard to just say. Apple kept the MacBook Pro on the ATI Radeon X1600 from January 2006 to June 2007, so we don't know if they plan to repeat that or not. But doesn't hurt to wait! :)

    Thanks Sam, then I'll wait a bit. :) My only concern would be XP drivers, and compatibility with older games on a 9x.

    Guys, there's nothing to upgrade TO right now. The 9500GS is just an 8600GT. If they want to put in something better, they're going to have to change the form factor and get some good cooling in there.
