I was wondering if anybody knows if Apple with have a labor day laptop sale of any sort? I am not sure if they did this in the past, which is why I ask if they ever have any sort of holiday sales? I only ask this because the T61P has a really great labor day sale, and it actually might be enough to change my mind about a laptop decision....unless of course apple is planning one too? So again my question is, does apple ever have any holiday type sales, or do they just have the student discount options only?

Apple never/rarely ever does sales from its end...third party resellers like to do sales now and then, but Apple rarely, if ever, does sales. Other than say the Student Discount + free iPod "sale".

I see a lot of packaged deals at http://www.macmall.com/

Im not sure if those are better than Lenovo's offerings.

Even third-party resellers have very minor discounts on Apple products. Most of the time they just bundle them with software, printers, and other accessories.

The only Apple sale is the iPod and printer rebates. Be careful of sales in stores, many times they are selling an older model too, so be sure you know exactly what you are buying.
