    may help with games, but does NOT help with applications like CS5/CS6, MAYA and AVID. the GPU still throttles and sticks there until you turn it off and reset SMC

    Anyone try this firmware yet? anyone can test with Diablo 3?

    Since you have some high end computers, I'll ask. Do they also throttle down? Isn't part of the problem here the Intel i7 and the built-in throttling from the DTS information ?

    I have not had a single workstation ( first second or third gen i7 ) throttle since a W700 with a bad fan. All my current ones have ran at 100% CPU and 100% GPU load for 30-100 hours continuous with no throttle and no temp over 84c. so I am not buying the DTS information atleast in these configurations
