What is the cycle of Apple rebate system? Now they have rebates for iPods, but this will end on September 8th. What is likely to happen afterwards?

    Nothing.

Though the Apple Store DOES have a 24 hour sale on Black Friday. Discounts are hardly worth mentioning though, and you can get cheaper prices on, say, Amazon anytime.

Yeah next promotion like this will be next year, they use it to clear out stock and make room for the new models.

I sent in my rebate form after buying my mac and the ipod - along with all the documents they wanted (claim form, labels and receipt) but I've now received an email saying they're waiting for my documentation :( Has this happened to anyone else? It took me ages to find a contact address to email them as there isn't one specific for the rebate process (that I could find anyway). I've told them they must be mistaken as I sent them all together via recorded delivery.
