This may be out of place in a notebook forum.......but as an apple device & being as good as a apple computer with mac os x.....i thought prolly I will post it here :D

Just upgraded my 1st gen iphone to a 3G handset:)

Well this was prolly the 1st time I was not too excited on getting a gadget, coz i just loved my previous phone.......and I didnt have any need to get another. And morever the advantages of 3G were useless......as there is no 3G in india .......the GPS in it does not offer voice navigation & worst was it will be locked to my vodafone ....and cant use it when i go abroad:(

But unfortunately my screen of iphone got damaged and i could not give it back to Apple USA for return, as i am in india rite now...
Also as its hacked piece, so i was not too sure if they would take it anyways.

Luckily I found a store which buys damaged hansets .......so got rid of it:D

And as I am so used to iphone, so i decided to get a 3G model. Selected the 8 gigs version, as I normally have about 5 - 6 gigs of music in it....so the extra 6000 rupees cost for 16 GB didnt make sense to me:p

    anyways....enough of story:eek:

here are the hot pics :p :p

I almost cried when I tried out the 2G iPod Touch.. Makes my iPhone 3G 16GB look like a toy.

The all metal back finish of the new 2G iPod Touch feels so solid and smooth compared to the fisher price plastic used in the 3G iPhone.

The quality of the 3G really took a step back compared to the 1st gen iPhones.

no doubt the metal back looks better and high quality.....but they had to use all plastic back to improve reception

Yeah, unfortunately to improve reception, a plastic back was used. It does degrade from the quality-feel, but of course it makes the whole phone lighter as well as improving reception and call quality. That's important in 3G.

Epically increase post count pl0x? XD. Awesome review, and lots of images, give me a good insight into the box and the likes(sorry if it sounds like I'm being sarcastic there, I'm not, most reviews don't go in that in depth :D). The leather case looks awesome, have you got a screen protector (yet)?
