    It's a stupid question if anyone can give me an answer. The question is can I convert or use the apple notebook to run pc software and apllications?

    well, yes and no. An Apple is designed to run the Apple OS and so is the processor that runs it so you certainly can't just install Windows on there for several other reasons also.

    BUT. You can buy software called Virtual PC that allows you to use Windows apps on your Mac. Check this out:

    But virtualPC only integrates a low end PC, though.

    well it depends what you want to do, you could run most programs just fine, its just gaming that would give you major problems

    Hi all,
    My girlfriend has an ibook G4, with 256 mb ram. she always complains that its really slow, and i was thinking that maybe she should upgrade ram?

    If so, is apple notebook ram and pc notebook ram the same? or is there special ram for apple?
