How many hours does a Macbook and Macbook Pro last while using Windows (surfing the net and/or typing stuff)?

I don't know the exact numbers, but you get a little less out of Windows on a MacBook Pro.

Don't have any numbers either, but Mac OS X has some built-in battery-saving stuff that Windows doesn't so it should last a bit less than OS X at least. But it's not likely to be really massive differences, maybe 5-10% or so?

I wouldn't worry about it because OS X is gonna suck you in and make you it's slave forever, with OS X you will have a new master and Windows will be gone.

    ;)

    Ditto on what star said.

I was wondering if anyone who has tried Boot Camp can give an estimate.

Guys, please state what notebook you have.

MB or MBP, they both have different screen sizes as well as different hardware components so the power consumption will be different between the two.

With my MBP 15 inch, i get about 2 hours in Windows with wireless on, maximum screen brightness while surfing the web, photoshop, itunes etc. Mac OSX I get around 3 hours life, maybe a little bit less, doing the same stuff. It's mainly because there isnt really any power management stuff in Windows.
