This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was just checking the Apple Store - 3:14pm ET - and got the characteristic 'We'll be back soon' updating store sticky note page.

    Is there something going on in the launch scene?

    NAB is going on.

    Final Cut Pro has been updated.

    Some sort of Final Cut Server has been released.

    Not sure what else. But with so much Final Cut Pro stuff being released, I doubt we'll see new laptops.

    Different people talk to different sources; not really surprising that they'd report on details that Engadget gets that MacRumors doesn't.
