I'd like to see the IP possibly or at least the email address that sent me an email. I just see a name someone has associated with an email.

Is there a way to find out more information about an email using Mail?

    Im running tiger.

I think this is what you're asking...go to Mail Preferences, and under Viewing, uncheck "Use Smart Addresses". That way, when you view an email with a contact that you already know, their email will still show up next to their name.

Yes you can see the IP address.

Open your message and go to menu View->Message->Show Long headers

Alternatively, you can do View-Message->Show Raw Source

A message always has the IP address of the sender as well as IP addresses of all servers that forwarded the message, e.g. the SMTP server and such.
