im going to get an apple soon to run audio aplications like cubase ableton etc..

I was just wondering if i will get feedback if i playback as the laptop is charging like in a live performance. i think they say if the CPU or board is earthed? or something like that im not sure im new to alot of this :D

only going what i pick up here and there in forums, they seem to hold te best advice.

thanks guys correct me if im way off :)

No you'll not get any feedback from charging. It is a magnetic latch, but there's no feedback.

I've actually had my Macbook Pro charge on stage like 10 inches away from a guitar amp, and there was no feedback. And remember the Macbook Pro is aluminum.

    Hope this helps.

yeah it does and what im trying to say when i plug this laptop in for charge, and then play music through a speaker/amp/p.a etc i get lots of unwanted noise a fuzzing (using a Acer extensa 5620Z).

I was just wondering if the macbook/macbook pro did this? I have seen people use them for live performance but i dont know where theyve had to configure there mac so it doesnt happen or if it comes like that? i heard some one in a forum mentioned about somehting being grounded cant remmeber where now.

Sorry bout that thread last night id just been wrking from 6am sat morn and it makes no sense at all haha, i really did need to get some sleep. Sorry :D

Yeah, you won't have any feedback using either a Macbook or a Macbook Pro.

Or any kind of noise, except if the cables you're using are of low quality.
