This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Interesting. I purchased this MacBook in May 2006 but it came with a Toshiba drive. Good to know I can get a free drive if it somehow develops that problem in the next eight months.

    Glad to see Apple taking care of things. They did the same thing for the faulty NVIDIA cards (luckily mine was not one of them).

    Yeah but even with those revised logic boards, no gurantee that those nvidia chips won't fail again.

    i wish manufacturers would stop prioritizing Nvidia's components. they're behind the technology curve and have caused a world of problems for several major computer manufacturers, from HP to Apple to Asus to Sony to Alienware.
