Is there any Apple equivalent of Device Manager? I want to find out the configuration setting and manufacturer name of the hardware in a MacBook Pro. If there is such a thing, please tell me how to access it. I am not that familiar with Apple and rarely use it.

Probably looking for System Profiler. Click the Apple in the top left -> About this Mac -> More Info
