I am getting a notebook within a month and dont know if I should buy a mac pro. I have never used apple notebooks before but my friend has one and im typing this on it right now. Where is the battery on this thing? Is the battery internal? Its not hooked up to anything and I have looked all around the notebook and dont see a battery. In addition, can I play all the new games? I have no idea about the compatability since I have never used an apple. I am also looking at the Asus W3J which has the same video card but wont be available until after my deadline. Are other software also compatible?

Compatability is my main issue. I just love the look of apples.

All notebooks come with an internal battery - the MB Pro's lasts for about 4 hours if I recall correctly. If you're looking for compatability, don't go for a Mac - Windows has much more compatability with software on the market. I suggest filling out our Notebook FAQ in the "What Should I Buy" Forum and post a thread there so we can assist you with finding the proper notebook.
