Can I install Aperature 2 on my Mac Book Pro and iMac? I was told that I can only install the program on one computer.

Strictly speaking, you CAN. But that is in violation of the EULA. I'm not sure what type of multi-user license <noparse>Apple</noparse> offers for Aperture.

This what I found out. You can install the software on one desktop and one notebook, as long as you are the owner of both computers. I believe that it is buried deep in the EULA. Thanks

The only issue you will run into is you will not be able to run both copies at the same time on the same network.
