    Anyone elses MacBook Pro overheating?

    My 17 inch MBP (prev gen) CPU runs between 50 and 70 (I don't game). The GPU temp is always higher than the CPU temp. It looks like Apple/nVidia has fixed that problem.

    That display of yours indicates that your fans are running at near full speed but you still have high temps. Perhaps there is an issue (as in build quality) with your machine. It wouldn't hurt to go to the Apple Store to ask if what you're seeing is normal or not.

    On another note, what's the name of the applet that you're using to display all of that system information?
