This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone else have a problem with trackpad update (late '08)

    So it said there was a firmware update for my track pad. I went to update and this happened. Anyone else have a problem?

    Some USB and FireWire devices may prevent firmware updates from installing correctly. If you are having trouble installing an update, try disconnecting non-essential devices.

    OKay I unplugged my mouse and it worked.
