I'm looking to get a PB or Ibook up to 1ghz. I need it for a backup to my MBP because I need to send it in to have the fans replaced (early MBP issue). That said, I've looked at eBay (but would rather just use my CC at a site that takes them, long story w/ paypal). I've looked at PowerMax, powerbookguy, macofalltraders, expercom, and a couple others but was wondering if you all knew of any others. My MacPro isn't very portable and I need a solution for school and my wife uses my MBP too **** much. :D

Thanks, that's actually where I started. I'm debating on waiting to see if the Apple store will get any refurbed macbooks in. I knew I shoulda pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago. I was wanting to stay around $500 but if they come back on it'll be nice to have the peace of mind of applecare in the future. Thanks all.
