    Is there any news or rumors about any new Apple hardware or software being released in October? It's always been a hot month for new tech, pre-holiday and all that jazz.

    No, there's no new news, unless you missed the rumour about the MacBook going aluminum.

    If you want to keep on top of rumours, I suggest you read MacRumors.com. They compile all the rumours from other sites and report on all of them. 9to5 Mac is the one to watch nowadays ;). They got all the right rumours in the past while.

    Yeaps, that's why I recommend MacRumors :D. I find they report the most and quickest. ThinkSecret used to be the star but its lost its sources. Its all 9to5 Mac now :D.

    LOL :)! I only read the first line of your post Sam. I didn't notice that you had already mentioned those rumor sites. Yeah, I usually ignore most of the rumor sites and read what filters through onto MacRumors. And also InsanelyMac but their primary focus is not rumors, definitely software rumors though.

    i think when the mb goes aluminium that it wont be long before the mbp gets a aesthetics update, obviously not october but early next year i'd say. i think this because they have always tried to define a clear difference between the models to justify the premium price of the mbp.
