Most times when I import a CD it is very slow (it says 5 or 6 X after the "Time Remaining" in the importing screen of iTunes), HOWEVER..... sometimes it will be 20 X and the disk drive is way faster sounding. It is very random and very confusing. I have even tried the same CD after erasing it out of iTunes immediately after importing it, and have had varied results. Usually it is slow, but my gut feeling is that it should be faster... Anyone?????

If you could actually provide us with more numbers and facts such as times and on what speed settings you have them. That will be really helpful and will help others help you. :)
