This is not an apple touch screen. Sorry. You must not have read correctly.
Axiotron is a company that has been converting apple laptops into touch screen tablets for quite a long time now. Years. They are still at it. They can convert aluminum macbooks and macbook pro's into tablets. Apple is not involved. -

here is there MBP version. I was excited when I found this site in thinking its something new then realized the company has been offering this for a while.
I'm actually tempted to getting one but the price turned me off. hahaha -
Axiotron is not affiliated with Apple and they have been turning MacBooks and MacBook Pro's into tablets for several years now. They are unbelievably overpriced and pathetically slow at getting the job done. If you want to get an idea of how long people were waiting for their "modbooks" go check out the Axiotron section in the tabletpcreview.com. People were waiting 6+ months.
Not to mention the technology they are touting isn't really all that revolutionary. I happen to think the best touchscreen technology currently out is the nTrig that Dell uses in their Latitude XT. If anyone hasn't seen a video demonstration of that laptop they need to head to youtube right now. A technology like that in a MacBook Tablet? Wow oh wow. -
Well some are still persisting with the tablet rumor.

Me I don't by it... for one there is no way apple is going to release a tablet/netbook thingo without a press event, and so far the only press event announced is for the iphone v3 skd.
