    Well in the headline of APPLE that was indicated;
    "Did you know the average IQ of an Apple owner is higher than that of a PC owner? Post your intelligent comments and questions about iBook and PowerBook here"

    So I m a Microsoft Certificated Database Adm.,Cicso Certificated Network Engineer and I m a computer engineer and I use everytime windows base pcs and notebooks,So am I a little bit stutip not to use Apple?heh heh what a weird headline...You are going to say it s general...what is the general? is it specific?is it scientic?lol all...And I cant use lots of programmes on Apple base comps.So What must I do to prevent it?I ve tested all powerbooks and very dissatisfied,lots of softwares,programmes do not work...Well I advise u,it s so protected,yeah but what do u prodect?system or urself?

    For better or worse, I'm going to try and make an intelligent response to this thread.

    I would guess it's not that Mac users are of above-average intelligence, but rather that greater numbers of dumb people buy PCs. This could be for a number of reasons, but primarily the cost. Dumb people are usually poor. I come from a dumb, small town, so I see this first hand every day. They are dumb and poor and not very tech-savvy. They hear about the Internets and computers and decide they want to buy one, so they buy the cheapest and most familiar product they can find, a PC.

    If you want a Mac, you have to spend some money and you have to go out of your way and shop at apple.com, a Mac reseller or the Apple retail stores. Dumb people are not inclined to have the money and expertise to make this kind of purchase.

    I have a moderately high IQ and I used PCs all my life. Does that make me dumb? Of course not. However, I got into the laptop market because of college and I bought a Windows machine because that's what I've always used. But then I had all kinds of problems in the laptop PC world that I'd never had in the desktop PC world. I got tired of the crappy construction of PC laptops and the quirkiness of Windows. I wanted a sturdy and stable laptop and I went with Apple and I'll never go back.

    Does that make me smarter? Of course not. It just means I got fed up with the status quo and decided to do something about it.

    @runner91786;

    mate,sure I m not a moron.Why do you talk like this?isnt it impolite? when we discuss,even if you or anybody can be smarter or more intelligence,but it musnt make us more up-noise,more impolite to other people.We must keep our human behaviours,attidutes.

    @adm58;

    1-mate,u are right in some issues.But think that! if u have one thousands sheeps,u can find 20-30 ill sheeps(u call them "dumb"). opposite that;if u have one hundreds sheeps,u probably find 2-3-5 ill sheeps...But the less numbers cant tell us everything.
    2-IQ numbers? which institute or any official can explain what is IQ really?who is dumb or not (that u called "dumb")?
    such as;In a british consulate IQ contest in Istanbul-Turkey,they found me so clever,so intelligence and my IQ number s 147.They say it s superb number,and this test is made in English,not in my native language,so they have so suprised.So what does it mean?I m on advanced level or not,I m intelligence or not,I m clever or not?I do not suppose these numbers show us everything about brain capacity-abilities.
    3-Poor people s dumb people as u said s not a right approach all these peoples.So u derived from ur sentences,they are poor,so they are dumb.It s so easy to say all these things like u said.And naturally,I can ask u a question,all Africans or many Africans are dumb,arent?For me it s not true.(this s a so complicated issue that we cannot reach a result)
    4-U say;Apple s a sturdy and stable laptop.and u continue that I buy for this reason.This s a well approach.I ve tested 1 month an apple before buying.And unfortunately I couldnt run all programmes that I need and use.So for me to buy a windows based notebook s a more stable and sturdy step than buying an apple.
    5-U said "I m tired of the crappy constructions...."this s so different issue too.Weary is about a psychological manner,how can u define it with some "intelligence" sentences.

    -Well,what s my aim?
    -My aim (if u say it s an aim) is to define headline s weird rows...Buying Apple is directly correlated with the human s brain capability.How funny...

    I was just generalizing, not all poor people are dumb. I know that. I'm just saying where I come from, midwest United States, that is the trend. I only use "dumb" for lack of a better word. I was just saying that in my experience, uneducated/poor people buy PCs and they do not buy Macs. This doesn't mean that educated/richer people do not buy PCs, but they are the group who has the ability to buy the more expensive Apple computers. As a result, one can make the claim the Apple users on average have a higher IQ.

    This is not an absolute, there are exceptions, but I think it's a fair generalization. At least in the United States, anyways.

    Eh, I just feel a lot of Apple users tend to be more artistic/creative/literature saavy people? I don't excel in any of those 3 categories at all...he he...I'm an accounting major :)

    As much as I love the way those Apple notebooks look, I don't think I can ever get myself to buy an Apple, even when not considering price. I love my Windows :)
