    Hi everybody,

I was just wondering if anyone had any good alternatives to itunes. I don't know why but I've never been a big fan of how it organizes/stores the songs. I use foobar on windows and I love it. Is there a mac alternative that's somewhat like foobar?

It basically looks like itunes and is based off the firefox source code. Check it out!

Yes, I saw that. Its just not very clear what you don't like about its organization and storage.

The reason I ask is that there really isn't anything as flexible as foobar available for OSX, and you might have better luck tweaking iTunes to meet your needs than searching for a program that doesn't exist.

If for one like the way it handles things. I'm an OCD freak, I actually want all my music organized that way... but i'm way to lazy to do it myself. It can be turned off and changed however you like it though, in the preferences.

Yeah, I was just wondering if there was such a program. I am most likely going to suck it up and use itunes.

    I like iTunes.

I manage my physical files manually though, and I turn off all of the iTunes management "features."

I have about 26,000 songs in there now, it works great.

Cog is the closest I have found on Mac to be basic like foobar

The current development version has bugs, but it works.
