This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    All file are pernament delete, not move to trash

    I don't know what's going on with my OS, but right now all the file are permanent deleted when i click "Move to trash" or push Command + Delete.
    The last two things i remember before this happened were i ran this command: rm -r .Trash/ in terminal and used a program named Trash It to clean my trash. >.< Any one please help me to return things back to normal :(

    Try this: Right click recycle bin properties and make sure that "do not move files to the recycle bin" is unchecked

    Oops, I did not realise you are running a Mac. Sorry....

    Oh, after a restart, it's ok now. I think it's a feature of Trash It! though the readme don't mention anything. Thank you anyway :p
