    I downloaded a Mac Version of AIM, I think its version is 4.7. Does anybody else have this? The reason I asked is because this version is kinda laggy, and it randomly shuts down on me every now and then? Is there a newer version?

    Why don't you use iChat? It works well and supports AIM.

    I like Adium, but personally I only use it because iChat doesn't support MSN accounts. If iChat did I'd probably be on iChat.

    AIM 4.7 is the latest version for Mac. It was last updated in 2004. Use iChat or Adium instead.

    iChat is included in OS X. Adium is Freeware.
