Does anyone have any idea how much the photoshop upgrade might be? I'm looking at buying CS2 (possibly the whole Adobe suite) next semester. However, I dont want to buy it if the upgrade cost maybe outrageous.
Does anyone know how much the upgrades usually go for, for both standalone apps adn the creative suite?

If you are a student you can get significant discount at a college campus store. Upgrades are generally $100-$300 less, but it depends on the program.

Well the Photoshop CS2 upgrade from CS was $169 I belive, a possible CS3 would probably be similar if they make one.

The Creative Suite CS2 was $749 from CS, so again if they have one, I'd assume similar pricing for CS3.

CS3 will be out early next year I believe. i would wait as long as possible, then get the 30-day trial from Adobe. By that time you may be able to get CS3. That way you don't pay for CS2 that you only use for a couple months.

Yeah, Im a student. I don't know what the cost is for the software. I thought it was $400 for the creative suite. But that can't be right, the full cost of the upgrade form adobe is $1200. Then again, MS products are about $12 for us.
But yeah, even if it's $400, thats $400...

Hey, thats a good site eric!
Some decent prices on theri stuff, and I noticed that there is a new version of Ableton Live out (or coming out).
So, $400 for the creative suite may be right then.
Nice... I can't wait to get it :-D

It's not a bad price, but my school still offers it cheaper. I can get it for $200

Than again thats not the upgrade price, thats the full version price.

If your college doesn't sell that kind of software you have to get it from other places.
