I lost my contacts in my computer's address book when I formatted the hard drive but I still have them in my 2nd Gen iPod Touch. Is there a way that I can get the address book from the iPod into the computer?

    Thanks

Tried exporting the contacts in iPOD into vCards format and see if you can read them back from within your comp?

    cheers ...

I could be wrong but shouldn't they get sync'd back thru iTunes?

I'm an OSX newb, but I just recently used iSync to sync my Nokia e71 address book with my new macbook, wouldn't that work with the iPod touch as well? Although some of the posts I've seen say that using iSync for the touch just starts iTunes. Either way, seems like it should be a relatively simple operation.

When you sync your iPod again, it should sync your contacts again such that your contact info will be copied back to your Mac.
