    Apple quotes 9hrs battery life. What does that mean in actual use? How far off the 7hrs is the current rMBP 13?

    Seriously, though, you'll get your answer once critics and the general public actually have the units in their hands. If you're absolutely desperate for information, you can use comparisons of the Haswell MacBook Air vs Ivy/Sandy as something of a baseline.
