    Hi guys.

I recently purchased a MacBook (the 1200ish model) with 512 of ram, and Im starting to feel its not enough.

I've found where to get 1gig Corsair DDR2 667mhz PC-5300 sticks, but I was wondering if there is any problem If i get just one, and have 1.25 gb of ram.

And, if on the future I want to upgrade to 2 gig, will there be any trouble in getting a second stick in order to enable the dual channel? do they have to be EXACTLY the same?

    thanks a lot

No there is nothing wrong with having 1256MB of ram.

Yes, Dual channel requires the same brand and model, generally its suggested to get them at the same time to avoid any problems like end up getting the same chip, but the manufacturer started using something else in it.

But you should be fine anyways if you buy one now, and one later.
