This is really nothing major but kinda annoying.
When I select 'About This Mac' my serial number doesn't appear anymore.

    How can I fix this?

Did it actually appear in earlier versions of OSX? Mine never showed up there; I always had to go into "More Info..." to see the S/N.

Hm, I don't remember if it was there before, but click More Info...and the first page of the window that opens has the SN on it! :)

I take it you've had your logic board replaced? I think this is a symptom of a logic board repair/replace.

You will need to click on the version number twice to see your serial number.

CLick on 10.5.4 or what ever version you got twice.

In your case click on the grey "Serial Number SystemSeumb" under the Apple Icon and the word "Mac OS X" twice.

That is the third screen... It always shows the version first, then the Build, then the serial... why would I have taken a screen shot then!?!
