APPLE USERS: QUESTION ABOUT iCHAT OR ADIUM

Hey guys - im trying to set a preference on Adium (a partner to iChat) to make it so when i get an instant message when I AM SET TO AWAY (ON AWAY MESSAGE) the message still comes through. Im a long time PC user, and theres a check-box option that says "allow im's to come through when away" which makes it so if your away message is on, a message does not pop up like a normal message...so im just wondering if theres something similar for adium or ichat. thanks

 

if you are away, you still get instant messages.

does that solve the problem? lol.

I seriously hope Apple will support MSN and Yahoo in iChat in Leopard. iChat's awesome but everyone I know and I myself use MSN. I'd gladly switch to iChat if it supported MSN but for now I'm on Adium.

I wonder if it has to do with the Apple + Microsoft deal...

 

I'm in the same boat, all of my friends use msn or yahoo, so I'm pretty much SOL when it comes to iChat. So yeah Adium is pretty much my only choice. Hopefully apple will get off their ass and make their "premier" chat program useful for the rest of the world using msn or yahoo.
