This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    AOL messenger issues

    i use the AOL messenger to chat but get logged off every 5 minutes some sort of error, anyone know of any issues, fixes

    Switch to iChat or Adium.

    Yes you can, with either of those applications. They're both way better than AOL Instant Messenger :). iChat is included with OSX and Adium is Free.

    adium is good its what i use. i also have fire that ill use every once in a while you can try that one to.
