Well I recently bought a 17" Macbook Pro. Great machine, everythings working normally and smoothly, but i noticed that the front right corner is off my desk by a slight bit (about a millimeter). It doesn't seem to be affecting any internal components or anything and isn't exactly the end of the world, but I would just like to know if this has the potential to eventually worsen or damage the Macbook. Also, is this a common problem?

Yea, that happened on my sisters Dell E1420. It was actually a few millimeters though. I would just get a new macbook pro, since you never know what could happen with it. It could get worse and you would be stuck typing with it going back and forth like a chair that has 1 leg a little shorter then all the others.

Just a thought. If you bought it new then I would just return it and get a new one. Claiming for warranty might be a hassle in the future.

Thanks for the replies. I'll get it exchanged as soon as i get my hard drive backed up.
A little wobble on the base.
