I'm looking to buy a MBP, but I'm frustrated with the lack of custom options. On the website, the 15 in. MBP is available in two options. I wanted the first option with an updated GPU of 256MB. But this GPU is only available in the second option. I don't want to pay extra $500 because $1799 w/ the educational discount is hefty enough. $2299 is way too much for me....

So...are there any options, such as calling in or other apple retailor websites, that allows you to customize your MBP more so than the AppleStore website?
