    Hello.

Is it possible to connect a MBP to a Logitech 5.1 surround set? If yes, how? Doesn't the MBP only have a headset-out connection?

The headset-out doubles as an optical out, so if you get a special cable from Apple you can hook it up to your speakers, if they have an optical input.

when i'm home i've got an external 5.1 soundcard that I hook up to the MBP, works like a charm for me, once you config it using the sound and midi tool ;) if you're able to connect it optically that's also possible as Cinner said :)
