Pardon the desktop question -- I'm typing this on a mid-2009 MBP, and I'm pretty sure I've seen other MB/MBP users mention that they have iMacs at home, so I wanted to ask here.

Basically, I'm just wondering if there are any reasonable Windows machine alternatives to that 27" iMac. I know Dell formerly made an all-in-one besides the 19" one they still have, but that's long since discontinued; if I were to get an iMac, I could just as well just Boot Camp Win7 since I wouldn't have to worry about battery life as with a MBP, but I was wondering if there are any machines I should consider.

Seems awfully hard to match a 27" IPS display, reasonable hardware, and all-in-one design at the moment.

If you are willing to compromise, there are the HP touchsmart AIO PCs.

But the better spec'd units would be Lenovo's A and B series AIO. Especially the B series.
