It was working perfectly fine in my 15" HE MBP. Installed Bootcamp drivers and everything without a hitch. Installed some games, then after a reboot, brightness controls in Windows do absolutely nothing. The brightness control icon on the screen flashes down as expected (you know, the little white boxes), but the screen doesn't actually dim.

The keyboard backlight keys work fine, eject is fine (this was bugged on my Macbook), so... suggestions?

Is this a problem with the 6750M?

For what it's worth the brightness control on my 17" 2011(HD 6750) with Windows 7 works fine in and out of games, though the on screen icon won't show while I'm in a fullscreen game.

I'm a noob but if you need something to do until someone who know what they are talking about can help you out maybe try the Windows 7 or BootCamp control panels and use the software to verify that your screen brightness can still be adjusted in some form or another.

I'm assuming it works fine in OSX, so this is a driver issue in windows perhaps.

I can only control brightness in the battery/power settings under Control Panel for some reason. It was working fine at first, so I'm not sure what I did to screw it up. Now it just doesn't work period, though everything else works fine (well, I lost the ability to alt tab in some games... hm...).

I think it's a problem with the Apple Keyboard driver, or the 6750M driver. I haven't decided which one yet.
