    If its a Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro 17, its not such a good deal. I recently sold my Macbook Pro 17 w/ Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz, 4GB, 500GB HDD, Nvidia 9600m 512MB/9400m 256MB, and 1920x1200 for $1450.

It say its a slightly above average deal. For $1650, you can get a brand new in box i5 Macbook Pro 15.

I assumed that this was a Nehalem model. I don't exactly recall when they switched over on models. I did buy an i5 high-res for my son this past summer but the Applecare exp implies that that unit was purchased in 03/10.

wow, i cant find a mbp 17" unibody at that price! with 2.8 ghz too... wish you sold it to me. I need a 17" since I need more real estate for work. so it's just an okay deal.
