I heard there was going to be an announcement of some kind in early November. Maybe you will get a new Macbook then.

It's 2 more hours for you "east coasters". Us "west coasters" still got 5 more hours. Well I'm on my way to get in line for my free T-shirt.

Well im pretty sure leopard is out in Europe and Asia, so I would think that they wouldnt wait till "east coast" time.

They wouldnt do something like that, cause thatd be horrible for sales if they just sold an old machine and then two hours later theyre selling/promoting a new version.

I just hope they upgrade the MacBook line. It's horrific at the moment: almost the same weight as a 15" MBP (which is unacceptable), no Santa Rosa, no X3100, no wireless N...but it's cheap compared to the MBPs.

The MacBook will most likely not be updated along with Leopard...not right away. Apple likes to give all its products equal media coverage, so it never announces too many things at once (see how the Apple TV was overshadowed by the iPhone at Macworld? Apple wouldn't want that to happen again). If Apple were to announce a new MacBook, I'd say it'd probably happen at least a week after Leopard's launch.
