    1.

I installed Flash 9 from the Adobe website because I wanted the fullscreen flash videos, but I noticed Quicktime has that feature as well. So I download the uninstaller from Adobe, close firefox and safari and run the uninstaller. I went to youtube to make sure everything worked, but I got the javascript/Flash error. I checked the quicktime MIME settings and checked everything but I still get the error. I reinstalled flash as a temporary fix, but it's not what I want.

    2.

I downloaded the toast 8 trial, it wasn't what I expected, so I uninstalled it and did everything in the roxio guide do fully uninstall it. The problem is I right clicked on my desktop, went to more and the "Toast it" option is still there

All help would be appreciated :)

Well, for your first concern, I'm pretty sure Quicktime's flash support has been depreciated. Apple tried to integrate flash, possibly to avoid being at Adobe's whim, but Flash was proprietary and Apple had to reverse engineer it. Adobe kept making so many changes to Flash and different versions, Apple decided it just wasn't worthwhile to keep up. I believe Quicktime's Flash support only extends to Flash 7 or something so you will need Adobe's Flash. (Flash is more open now as part of Adobe's AIR initiative, but I don't think Apple will bother).

I have done both. I will try the uninstall guide, I must have missed a file.
