Anyone had any experience of how these two work together? I'm likely to be playing a few ongoing MMORPG's down the line (such as warhammer online) but WoW's been my steady gaming habit for ages now...

not sure but you could always use boot camp and install windows as a 2nd OS and use that to play games.

WoW, like many Blizzard games run natively in Mac OS. Just watch Job's keynote, you'll see WoW make a cameo appearance. From what I know, the performance in Mac OS is very close to that of under windows.

Aye... was aware of that (lovelly people that Blizz are...). I was expecting to play wow on a mac OS - but had memories of trying a friends imac and being horrified how badly it compared to my aging pc - both in screen resolution and frame rate. I was assuming the powerbook pro with its new specs would preform rather better?

from what i've heard it will run pretty damn good in os x. having the specs on your friends imac would make answering that alot easier

Sadly I've not got a clue... One of the G5s - 20 inch screen. I know it's maximum refresh rate was a less than inspiring 65 Hertz
