    Is this a good deal? no applecare, but still in warranty

    im not that good with apple prices... ._.

    i would need to buy applecare later

    It is not horrible. Depends on condition, battery wear, and other specs (hdd, ram ...)

    where are you buying from? Ebay, craigslist, someone you know? Make sure to be safe and dont get ripped off. If you are worried about the deal post as much info as you can and of course feel comfortable sharing. The more info we have the better we can help.

    the deal sounds fine. you better make really sure the person is trustworthy because your recourse options are limited if there are any problems since you are purchasing via a forum.

    I would say its fair, maybe a bit high.

    If its in warranty, you can still add applecare.
